Leaco Rural Telephone has an immediate opening for a part-time
Retail Sales Associate for Hobbs.
The successful candidate will work approximately 20 hrs per
week. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for
attending to the needs of potential customers by assisting with
the selection of phone plans, internet packages, demonstrating
various products, and educating customers on all services.
The Retail Sales Associate will also be responsible to assist
existing customers with bill questions, take payments, assist
with plan changes, etc.
I. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge and skills usually
acquired through one to two years of commercial office
experience, general accounting, and consumer relations required.
II. CORE COMPETENCIES
1. Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
2. Ability to multi-task, and to work successfully with frequent
interruptions;
3. Ability to deal with a variety of personalities and maintain
a good working relationship with employees;
4. Ability to pay close attention to detail;
5. Ability to work accurately with figures in following
step-by-step procedures and instructions;
6. Ability to maintain complete confidentiality of subscriber
credit and billing records;
7. Ability to operate office equipment;
8. Competence in basic computer skills in MS Office or similar
programs, and in software specific to the customer service and
billing functions.
9. Possess basic clerical and administrative skills and possess basic accounting knowledge;
